We will assign each climb a point ranking based upon the level of difficulty and judge the competition winner by adding the points of each climber based upon the number of routes he or she finished. This is a friendly competition, we encourage participation by all levels of climbers. This will allow a motivated mid-level climber a chance to win the event, broaden the base of participants and also allow a very determined low-level climber a chance to place high in the overall ranking. This system avoids trying to classify pro and amateur and hopefully encourages more participation among beginner and intermediate level climbers. Again, the goal is to have fun.
