The organizing committee of the Yangshuo Climbing Festival (YSCF) would like to announce that we will host the next YSCF in Fall 2012. Following three successful years (2008-2010) we have decided to take a year off in order to deliver the best possible event for climbers from throughout China and Asia in 2012. We are proud of the fact that we have brought together over 1,000 participants during the initial 3-year run and raised significant funds to donate back into the local community to ensure the long-term sustainability of this unique climbing environment.

With each passing year, crag access issues have become more complicated in the greater Yangshuo area and we are committed to ensuring that the YSCF is an asset to the climbing community instead of contributing to crag access challenges between the climbing community, local farmers and the government. Ensuring this remains true is part of the reason for taking this year off. We thank you all for your support and look forward to seeing you again in 2012. Until then, climb safe!
