Yangshuo Climbing Festival

The first annual The North Face®/Black Diamond Yangshuo Climbing Festival will be held in Yangshuo from October 31 to November 2. The festival will include clinics taught by some of the world's best rock climbers, climbing video, slide shows, friendly climbing and slack line competitions, live music, food and beer. Also, festival T-shirts and gifts, including a The North Face® hat and T-shirt, a Black Diamond headlamp, a Bilt water bottle, a Sea To Summit pocket towel and a Suunto coupon will be presented to each registered participant as well as prize giveaways from our sponsors.

Climbing Festival Mission

The mission of the Fesitval is to bring together climbers from throughout China annually to promote and celebrate the sport of rock climbing.

Climbing Festival Goals

The goal of the festival is to promote the sport of rock climbing and a sense of community among climbers throughout China in a fun, friendly, casual atmosphere. The festival organizers will donate a significant portion of proceeds raised through a modest entry fee back into the local Yangshuo schools in an effort to encourage a long-term collaborative partnership between climbers and the local community.
